Kittykat's Day Of Beauty

Do you remember the Friends' episode where Joey has to hang out with Janice all day and Janice calls it "Joey and Janice's Day Of Fun"? (If you don't, you can find the entire script for the episode here. I remember it clearly, though, because I was an avid Friends watcher back in college. And also after college. But not so much now, since I've already seen every Friends episode at least three times, and also because I'm watching a lot of repeats of "King of Queens", since I already watched every episode of "Malcolm in the Middle". I like sitcoms that are on during dinnertime, what can I say?)

Anyway, what made me think of it, is that tomorrow is going to be my day of beauty. I will call it: Kittykat's Day of Beauty. I'm getting my hair foiled (foiled again! har har - I hear your courtesy laugh!), my eyebrows waxed and my nails manicured. It's good to be pampered (although that phrase always makes me think of Pampers, which has a totally different connotation), but it's also good to have hair that doesn't have two inches of grow out and nails that don't look like you've been on an archeological dig for the past six months. It's all about maintenance.

And then, after my day of beauty, I'll be ready to celebrate my birthday! Goody gumdrops, I can't wait!
