One Year Anniversary

It's hard to believe, but we've lived in the condo for a whole year! (We moved in on March 4th or 5th last year, I can't remember which...) I still absolutely love it, and since everyone enjoys a countdown, here are The Top Ten Things I Still Really Like About The Condo*:

1. The DISHWASHER! So long, dishpan hands!
2. Our neighbors - they are sweet and nice and don't overhaul vans in my driveway or throw used containers of shampoo on my steps in an effort to "help" me understand what is and is not considered recyclable.
3.The fireplace flue, which actually opens and does not belch carcinogenic smoke back on us when we have a fire.
4. The kitchen, which is beautiful and does not house any critters great or small, aside from us.
5. The location - so close to Safeway that I can walk there in less than two minutes and have a maple bar in my sweaty little palm or a cold beer from the Baronof.
6. The secure, covered parking spaces. See ya later, wind that causes my hair to stick to my lipgloss on the way to my car!
7. A laundry room - with a DOOR! (And a hall closet, too!)
8. The bathroom and all its shiny fixtures.
9. The fact that we don't have a yard to mow or weed.
10. My own (newly organized) closet!

*Please excuse the excessive use of exclamation points! I just can't seem to control it sometimes! But at least I'm not using all caps! I really hate it when people do that!
