Decking the Halls

I've been working on decorating for Christmas and have been making some progress. We're not putting up a tree this year, but I did get three tiny wreaths from Trader Joe's, some flameless candles from Costco, and a large wreath from Costco.

So it's starting to smell pretty festive at home from all the fresh cut tree boughs.

I also got a ton of Christmas balls from my Mom. I put some on the mantle,

some in a bowl on the console,

some on the back of the toilet (or "commode", as my Texan friend, Sabrina, in 10th grade used to say),

and some in the ice bucket (which is my favorite - why didn't I think of it sooner?)

Now that the halls are decked, we just need to don some gay apparel, strike a harp and join the chorus and we'll be all set for the holiday season. That's what's up.
