Out of my gourd for gourds! (and mini pumpkins)

I went to Costco with my Mom over the weekend and we ended up in the produce section looking for bananas (but, yes, they had no bananas). Instead of bananas, I saw a box with an assortment of mini pumpkins, gourds, straw, decorative leaves and dried mini-corn cobs. All for only $11.99.

I couldn't pass up a deal like that, so into the cart it went. (Along with Christmas cards, gift bags, coffee, razor blades, flameless candles and foot lotion. Costco makes me so A.D.D.)

When I got home, I set to work making different arrangements. I made one for the top of the t.v. armoire.

I added a couple mini pumpkins on the mantle.

And I also put a pumpkin and some straw (or is it wood shavings?) on the back of the toilet.

It's a fall extravaganza at our place!
