Double Trouble

If there's one thing I hate, it's double ended make-up brushes. Why? Because I store all my brushes in a glass with the business end facing upwards. So, if there's a brush on both ends, then it pretty much has to be stored on its side. So then, it has to go in my make-up drawer and I forget about it or it rattles around with my make-up containers and that just seems unsanitary for something that is going to come in contact with my eye or face. I like the idea that my brushes haven't touched anything else besides maybe the neighboring brush and my skin. It just seems like an overall cleaner process. Plus, it's more aesthetically pleasing to see all my brushes at-the-ready in a pretty glass, rather than on their side, sad and dejected in a drawer.

It seems like a lot of make-up sets feature double-sided brushes. They must be cheaper to make. But any make-up kit/set/etc that comes with brushes included must be normal one-sided brushes, or I won't buy them.

Sorry Bobbi Brown. (Not to be confused with Bobby Brown of Outsider's Inn "fame". Don't be cruel, y'all.)
