Aaron and I visited the Sip n' Ship that just opened in Greenwood. We both partook in a caffeinated beverage and a sweet treat.
I had a single short nonfat mocha without whip, because that's the only fancy coffee drink that I know how to order without stuttering and Aaron had an iced Americano. Our coffee was tasty and my oatmeal raisin cookie was also delish. I didn't try Aaron's molasses cookie, but he reported that it was lovely.
All the coffee is fair trade and while you sit and relax, you can gaze upon the Baranof across the street.
After sipping, we decided to do a little shopping. There are lots of cute greeting cards, candles, gift wrap, hats, t-shirts and other gift-y type stuff. I bought a little sumpin sumpin for myself.
What is it, you ask? A candle? Some wrapping paper? No, it's a sporty Greenwood t-shirt!
Now whenever I leave the hood, I can still represent. Word.
We didn't do any shipping, but it's good to know that it's an option. I hope the Sip n' Ship will be very successful and stick around for a long time to come. I think they're a great addition to the neighborhood and I look forward to the next time I need a last minute birthday card - because they will be my first stop.
