I never looked at mine that much before, but then I saw an ad for Rejuvadermtox or some damn thing in Allure, and I had to look at my nasolabial folds. Are they too deep? Too wrinkly? Too naso-ish? I mean, I'm not going to sign up to have toxins shot into my face, but the mere fact that I am now aware that my nasolabial folds could suddenly go to pot has me on the alert.Another couple articles - one from Marie Claire, which I don't even have a subscription to, but saw on the Budget Fashionista's blog - and another article in the latest issue of Self - both talked about changing to your winter skincare regimen. It mentioned that you can always pick out the lady that doesn't switch to a richer creme moisturizer during the cold months, because her skin will seem red and basically awful. I usually stick with most of the same crap throughout the year and switch at random when I read a good blog review or article. But I got to thinking. Is my skin sallow or blotchy? Are people at the grocery store perusing my pores with distaste and is that flakiness around my nose due to my too watery face lotion?
I asked Aaron if he changes his skin care regimen in the wintertime. He said he doesn't have a skincare regimen. Men exfoliate every day with shaving, though, so that's kind of a different thang all together.
So, I dug around in my basket of product in the bathroom the other day and came up with some Eucerin nighttime creme. I've been slathering it on and it feels quite nice. I've also started exfoliating with a washcloth in the evening, in addition to the morning. I'm such a sheep. A sheep with glowing skin, though, bitches. Bah bah.
