We're heading to Las Vegas tomorrow morning (SUPER early) and then bussing to Lake Powell on Thursday. It's another trip from Aaron's work for hitting a sales goal and it's our first trip together as a married couple. So, I guess it's kind of our honeymoon...but not really.
At any rate, we'll be staying at the Mirage and then spending some time with our friends that live in Vegas (the ones that just got married) and they promised to take us to a dive bar so my attention will be diverted from the $2 watered down vodka tonics at the Barbary Coast.
At Lake Powell, we'll be hiking, swimming in the lake and possibly carrying a backpack instead of a handbag (!!!). It will be like we traded roles with Survivorman. Next we'll be eating grubs and camping out in a shelter made of branches! (Perish the thought!)
It's supposed to be in the 80s while we're there, so I'll be packing my Urban Sombrero and some SPF 100 sunblock so that I don't get sunburned.
My brother informed me that Lake Powell was featured in a "bikini destination" show that he saw on tv. But I shant be wearing a bikini...no, no, no - I'll be wearing my Miracle Suit.
So, it should be slots-o-fun! I'll give a full report when we return next week! Ta ra!
