My Mom has six enormous blueberry bushes in her backyard and they are at their peak ripeness right now. I've been helping her pick and we've been beating away the crows and robins that think the blueberries are their own personal Old Country Buffet.I've also been eating my fair share, but after about 10 bushels, I'm afraid that I'm going to puff up into a giant blue balloon, like Violet Beauregard in Willy Wonka and the Choclate Factory. If I can avoid that fate, I should end up with better skin, because Dr. Perricone claims blueberries improve your complexion. We'll see. Considering they're free to me, it's a better deal than buying any of Dr. Perricone's products!
In the meantime, I'm getting bored with eating them straight no chaser...so does anyone have any good recipes that involve blueberries?

Blueberry Smoothies! : )
Ingredients:
1 ripe medium banana
3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup skim milk
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 cup crushed ice
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
Yields: 1 large serving
Nutrition information: Calories 281 cal, Total Fat 1.3 gm, Saturated Fat .4 gm
