Ok, I know everyone loves Netflix. My only reluctance to get Netflix is that sometimes I like to go to rent movies in person. Well, Blockbuster has come up with a solution to this problem. They have the unlimited 3 movies at a time for $17.99 per month like Netflix, however, there is the added bonus of being able to rent a free movie per week at an actual Blockbuster location. (You just print the coupon that appears every week in your online account and take it with you when you rent a movie.)I know that Blockbuster is big business, which is bad, but it's only two blocks from our house...and walking is good for the environment, right?
Anyway, it seems like a good deal so far. I've been able to watch girl movies like "In Her Shoes" and documentaries like "Mad, Hot Ballroom". Aaron has gotten such great classics as "Dazed and Confused" AND the additional "Dazed and Confused" extras DVD and other movies that I have no interest in seeing, like "Constantine". (Keanu Reeves will always be a character in "Bill and Ted" to me..."You medieval dickweed, you killed Ted!") Plus, we've also rented movies in person that we both want to see, like "The World's Fastest Indian".
So, I'm hooked and now I have a queue like all the cool kids.
