People say that everyone's family is crazy and my family is no exception. It all comes out when everyone knows they'll be getting together, which is why the wedding planning has got me slightly on edge. It's started already...my Dad keeps telling me not to forget to invite my aunt (aunt #1) even though she and my Dad had some sort of falling out when I was in 7th grade and my brother and I haven't spoken to her since about 1987... "Are you sending her an invitation? Because she thinks she's not getting invited. And be sure to send Grandma an invitation, too." (Even though Grandma is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs and won't be able to attend the wedding.) "Don't worry, Dad, they're on the list."
And, I just got an email from my other aunt (my Mom's sister-in-law - aunt #2) about being excluded from a lunch with me, my Mom and my other aunt (my mom's sister - aunt #3) over the weekend. We went to Azteca for a $3 taco during happy hour - big whoop! (I know. I'm a food slut, what can I say? I have no standards.)
To top that off, my Mom is calling me at work to have me approve the mother-of-the-bride dress she has on hold, but it's not online, so I can't view it and it's only being held until tonight at the store. She said it's sleeveless and the color is "Leaf". As long is it's not just a single leaf a la Eve, I don't really care!
No wonder brides turn into Bridezillas...somebody get me a vodka tonic.

Good luck with all of it! Just remember to breathe. : ) A friend who got married two months before me warned me of this...
[i.e.] A few hours before my rehearsal dinner, I started getting panicked phone calls from a wedding party attendant who was running late. And when I say panicked, I mean yelling in the phone at me about traffic. And when I say phone calls, I mean four of them in 20 minutes. And when I say late, she ended up getting there on time and before me!
Good advice. I am breathing and thinking "calm blue ocean". It also helps that there is a liquor store a block from our house. :-)
