Fleurs

We've decided to go with PT Petals as our wedding florist. (It just dawned on me the the "PT" must stand for Port Townsend...duh, all I could think of when I first heard it was "PT Cruiser", which was the type of car that we rented in Las Vegas.)

Their website has some issues, but we looked at the actual store when we were in Port Townsend and it was full of flowers, which is all we really need to know.

I had a phone consultation with the florist and then she sent me a price estimate. After I "crunched some numbers" in the wedding budget, I realized that we could indeed afford all the purty flowers, but I'm not throwing my bouquet. No sir. I'm keeping that bad boy until it dries out and I have to throw it away because dried flowers mess with the feng shui in a room.

Anyhoodles, we're going to have flowers all over the place. Centerpieces, flowers on the cake, flowers on the arch, corsages, boutonnieres, and bouquets. The place is going to look like a goddamn float. So if you have pollen allergies and you're planning to come to the wedding, be a dear and bring your Benadryl.
