Vegas, Baby!

We just bought our tickets to Vegas! A friend of ours is getting married in Las Vegas in June (she actually lives there) and we're going down to help celebrate with her and her soon-to-be hubby.

I've been doing some research and have found that there is more to do than just gamble. Thank God! I last about five seconds on the slots and I'm too chicken to play poker or any of the other table games.

Some of the gems that I've uncovered are the Liberace Museum, The Pinball Hall of Fame (ok, Aaron found that one), The Attic (which is apparently a very hip vintage store), and various and sundry cheap buffets. Speaking of cheap food, Wikipedia lists that Slots A Fun at Circus Circus has a 99 cent half pound hot dog! Holy indigestion, Batman!

And, of course, we're going to get some of those 99 cent margaritas that some of the casinos peddle...and drink them on the sidewalk! However, we'll only be going out after the sun sets, because I melt like a cheap lipstick when the temperature goes above 75 degrees. So, yeah, Vegas in June. I may never leave the hotel room!
