I'm thinking of getting extensions for the wedding, instead of an updo. I mean, I'm already going to wear a tiara (shut up, it's my day to be a princess, bi-atch), so why stop there, right? If Sienna Miller and Kiera Knightly can chop off their hair one day and then slap on extensions the next, then, by gum, I should be able to do the same. My stylist said she could buy the hair and then we'd just glue it on, all crafty like. (The hair is attached to a weft, like on a wig, so that is what gets glued onto your head - not each individual hair.) I don't know if she has this style of hot glue gun, but I kind of hope not, because it greatly resembles the glue gun that Aaron used to glue the fur on the old Eames chair. I'm not sure how I feel about having boiling hot glue slathered on my tender scalp, but it might be worth it to get long flowing locks, like Rapunzel.
I'd definitely want real hair, and not synthetic. Howerver, I think I'll pass on the yak hair. The hair of Russian virgins would be my first pick, but we'll see what they have at the Ye Olde Hair Supply Shoppe.
Maybe Aaron sould get some extensions, too? What do you think? Maybe a nice Jerry Curl? Then he could sing "Superfreak" as we walk down the aisle... (insert Dave Chapelle/Rick James quote here as needed.)
