If memory serves, the whole putting-famous-couples'-names-together-to-form-a-witty-new-name started with "Bennifer". It was cute and condescending at the same time. Score one for the media. The trend has spread to other famous couples, like TomKat, Bennifer II (I guess Ben Afflek can only date/marry "Jennifers") and the latest being Brangelina. It's all funny ha-ha until you test drive it with your and your partner's names smooshed together. Aaron and I get "Aaathy" or "Caaaron". Can I sell a couple vowels? Try it and see what I mean. It's not so amusing anymore, is it, smartypants?

Br + Angelina = Brangelina
