Yummy Berry

Prior to a couple weeks ago, I hadn't darkened the door of Victoria's Secret since college. However, I was on a quest for a cotton bra that was comfy and cute. The bra situation hasn't worked out so well (I swear, I'd rather clean the toilet than shop for bras), but I did find a lovely new lip gloss.

The gloss is from their Beauty Rush line and after careful consideration, I chose the color Yummy Berry.

It's pretty thick and smells like fruity candy (it reminds me of Mambas). It tastes sweet when you lick it, kind of like my beloved Bonne Bell Lipsmackers. The color that I got looks red in the tube, but goes on very sheer. There is the tiniest bit of a pink cast, but mostly it looks clear. I like to wear it alone or over lipstick for some added shine.

The container/packaging of the Beauty Rush gloss is appealing and attractive enough to whip out of your purse in public. The tube has a slant tip applicator and the gloss is easy to apply without a mirror. The lid screws on and is silver to match the cursive "Beauty Rush" writing on the front. It says "Victoria's Secret" in a very small white font at the bottom of the tube that you can only read if you look very closely. So you don't have to worry that you might be broadcasting to the world where you purchase your undies.

There are quite a few other colors and flavors to try. There were some that smelled kind of gaggy (like the cocoa flavored one), so beware, but the Yummy Berry lives up to its name. It is both yummy and berry-esque.
