Give a hoot

With all my spare time, I've been able to hit up the Goodwill with relative frequency. It's been pretty sweet. Although, the Goodwill is busy all the time. I thought it was just Saturdays. Is everyone on staycation?

Even with all the competition, I have managed to score some good finds. Most recently, I found two sets of owl salt and pepper shakers.

They are so cute! I decided to keep the white set

and gave the brown set to Moxie P'toxy.

I love their little faces. Although, they do look a bit unimpressed. They appear to be saying, "We are bored stiff. Stiff as ceramic. Hey, wait, we are ceramic! We'll never be able to hunt for voles again. Man, I feel parched. I think I've been ingesting too much sodium. Well, at least you're not sneezing all the time. Achoo-whooo! Where is all this pepper coming from?"

But sometimes, despite their bored expressions, I have them say, "Who? Who?" or "Give a hoot don't pollute!" And then Aaron rolls his eyes, but I know he is secretly amused by my charade.
