The Cure

Aaron and I got tickets to go see The Cure! I'm so excited! They're playing at the Key Arena on October 8th. They have an opening band, but I haven't heard of them. It will be my fourth time seeing the Cure live. I haven't been disappointed so far, so I hope that this show is no different.

Key Arena is not my first choice of venues, but I've seen shows there for Bumbershoot (Elliott Smith, Violent Femmes and Mudhoney - but not in the same year, of course) and it's not that terrible. (I also went to see the Sonics there once, but I'm not a big sports fan, so I don't see myself doing that again. Watching basketball's not my thang.)

We got the $39 seats (actually $51 after they add all the fees - handling fee, selling fee, paper fee, fee tabulating fee, etc), but they are still on the floor and not up in the rafters, so I think it will be alright.

So it should be a good show! I'm looking forward to it! (I hope they play Charlotte Sometimes and A Forest - fingers crossed.)

How did you get tickets for so cheap? I thought they were like $95? Now I'm pissed.
