I was particularly excited to embark on this photo montage, because it reminded me of that section in InStyle where they show the outfits all laid out for different occasions (like "weekend at the Hamptons" or "Afternoon Wedding") and then they list the designer and price of each item.
My project turned out to be fun, but more labor intensive that I anticipated. I had to keep jumping up onto a chair to get up high enough to take pictures of outfits that I had laid out on the floor. I also worked up a sweat lugging coats and shoes out of the coat closet and to the bedroom floor for the "fashion spread".
In the end, I created about twenty winter work outfits, such as this one:

Next, I will tackle winter going out outfits and then spring/summer work outfits (which means capris! Yay!).
God, it's hard being this anal retentive, but getting dressed this morning was a snap.
And P.S. None of my work outfits incorporate handbags because I take a work bag to work. (Ok, it's an Eddie Bauer backpack, but I have a lot of crap to haul around...so cut me some slack.)

Are you saying that the Queen of handbags does not use a handbag from the hours of 8am to 5pm? That's blasphemy, I say! Blasphemy!
I know! It's a terrible waste, but it's just too much to coordinate with the gym bag, lunch bag, etc. So I'm a weekend handbagger only...but I do enjoy gazing at my handbags during the week.
