It's My Bag, Baby

In an effort to reduce, re-use and recycle, I bought some of these spiffy shopping bags at QFC. They are sturdy and have a box bottom, so they are more user-friendly than the book bag style sacks that some places sell. (And they only cost $1.25!) I especially love them because when I make the weekly journey across the street to Safeway, their wide handles don't dig into my hands when I carry my groceries back home.

I have gotten positive feedback about my bags from most of the baggers and checkers. (But even if they gave me hassle, I guess they would just have to pucker up and kiss it, wouldn't they?)

I don't know if QFC is still selling these, but if they are, I highly recommended buying some (or similar ones), because they are super fantastic and you will love them. And you can feel good about doing your part to reduce the use of plastic bags.
