Feeling Flush/On The Cheap

You know the Splurge or Steal feature in Marie Claire? I love reading that! They have a Luxe or Less section in Shop magazine, too, but I only read that in the grocery checkout line and I think that mag is not going to be published for much longer because they can't compete with Lucky magazine.

But, anyhoo...so that section. If I had to name it, I would call it Feeling Flush/On The Cheap. When I'm feeling flush and I want loose face powder, I buy Bare Minerals Mineral Veil. It's smooth and cool when you put it on and really sops up the oil. But when I want to get face powder on the cheap, I buy Cornsilk No Color Natural Matte loose face powder. You can find it at Walgreen's, Ulta, and WalMart (I know that WalMart is the anti-Christ to some, I'm just saying they sell it if you are so inclined to shop there.)

I have used Cornsilk powder off an on since high school. It gives a light coverage and it doesn't shimmer or cause breakouts. I always seem to come back to it after trying expensive powder. It's under $6, too. What a deal!
