Christmas Par-tay

Aaron's work Christmas party was this past Saturday at the Spitfire. (It's a sports bar, but it's in Belltown, so it's the most un-sporty sports bar that I've seen.) They had a wonderful buffet with lots of vegetarian and meat selections. Aaron and I liked the quesadillas and chips the best (I'm a vegetarian wanna-be). But the icing on the cake was that they they had cupcakes from Cupcake Royale! (So I guess that would be "the icing on the cupcake"?) I loooove those cupcakes. They are super fantastic. I had a white one with pink frosting and it was delicious. Later, I went back and got another one (yeaaaah, that's probably why my jeans were so tight yesterday), but I only ate the top and left the cupcake stump.

We also had a few drinkies and there was karaoke for those who were interested. We didn't partake, but there was a fine rendition of "Back in Black" by AC/DC and one of our friends sang "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas.

The party was fun (even though we didn't win the prize of two free plane tickets to anywhere in the WORLD!) and it was also an opportunity for me to debut my new haircut! (No pics yet, but I will try to get a photo up on MySpace ASAP.)
