Cafe Besalu

Moxie P'toxy and her beau told us about a yummy French bakery over by the Copper Gate on 24th. Always up for something sweet or savory, Aaron and I popped in there today to check it out.

Cafe Besalu is cute and bright and welcomes you as you open the door with the inviting smell of freshly baked goodies and coffee. Mmmmm.

I got a pain au chocolat and brought it home, so I could enjoy it later.

I heated it up in the oven and it was just perfect. Flaky and light, with just the right amount of chocolate. I gobbled it up too quickly to get a picture.
