What a weekend! I had snow days on Thursday and Friday, so it's been a bit of an extended weekend for me. It may extend into tomorrow, too - we'll have to wait and see!
Aaron and I have been out and about Christmas shopping in the hood, going on walks, bussing to our friends' holiday party, and having drinks at Gainsbourg. All the while, I've been watching King 5 News and their Winter Storm 2008 coverage. I think I've developed a weather report addiction. I've never watched so much news. I also feel compelled to look out the window every five minutes at the Walgreen's sign so that I can report the temperature to Aaron and announce, "It's 32 degrees and it's STILL snowing!". Five minutes later... "It's not snowing right now!! And it's 31 degrees."
To break up the constant weather report tracking and vigilant window snow watch duties, I have been going on a lot of walks. I've been on two walks so far today. Here's what I saw:
Some people are skiing!
A sh*tload of snow!
The Greenwood Library was closed.
But many other establishments were open, like True Value Hardware and Prost!
It's all got me quite exhausted, really. I think I'll take a break and go watch "It's me or the dog". That Victoria Stilwell is quite a character with her jazzy little Jaguar.
(But just one last peek out the window. Snowing. Again. 31 degrees. Ahhh! I can't stop!!)

haha, i'm in the routine of taking pics. outside with camera. back in. upload. back outside with camera....though i did walk for a bit today. i'm feeling a little cabin fever!
I am feeling a bit cabin fever-ish, too! We're home again today and I'm trying to figure out what to do. Probably go on a walk...and take some pictures. :-) It's like Groundhog Day!
Bryan is shoveling the driveway in the hopes we can get the car a bit closer to a grocery store (85th & 15th). We figure we'll still have to walk a bit, but we want enough groceries that a 2-mile walk with all heavy bags might get a bit hairy! Wish us luck.
Good luck getting to the store! Drive safely!
