Aaron and I are both home again today. Right now, Aaron is watching "Weird Science". (No shit, Chet. No shit.)
I am not a whole lot more motivated, myself. I keep thinking, "Oh, maybe I'll go for a walk. Maybe I'll bake some cookies. Perhaps I should do some chores around the house?"
All I've actually been able to accomplish is running downstairs to catch the UPS man and get my package from Sephora (I ordered some Make-Up Forever HD Microfinish powder. More on that later) and check my email. Oh, and watch continuous storm coverage on the news.
But I haven't showered or brushed my teeth yet. I'm just slowly becoming lazier and lazier. With so much time off, it hardly seems like there is any rush to do, well, anything.
Our neighbors and condo association compadres, however, decided that they better hot foot it up on the roof and shovel some snow. This is a photo of the roof of the building next door to us and I can only imagine that ours looks about the same.
I can hear them clomping around up there right now. They called us to see if we could help, but I am in such a state of slovenly-ness, that I just listened to the voicemail, ate some string cheese and exclaimed, "Hey, I forgot that Robert Downey, Jr. was in 'Weird Science'!" Hopefully, they'll get the job done and our roof won't cave in.
