Top Five Deals of November

I should probably change the post title of this to "Top Five Best Goodwill Buys of the Month", since all my best bargains seem to come from the Lynnwood Goodwill. And the month of November is no different, especially with their day after Thanksgiving sale where all tags were 40% off (including Glitter tags!) and blue tags were 99 cents.

The day after Thanksgiving sale at the Goodwill turned out to be a family affair. My Mom, my Dad, my brother and I all got up early and made it out to start our bargain shopping at 9am. (That's pretty early for me. I wasn't about to battle with those fools that go out at 5am for flat screen tv's and doorbusters crap at WalMart.)

My Dad and my brother were pretty speedy with their shopping. After about 45 minutes, my Dad found a couple lamps and some books and my brother got some books and some pants. Then they decided to leave us to keep looking and they went to Office Depot for more sales.

After four hours of searching, trying on, jockeying for a fitting room, and repelling evil stares from people that wanted our fitting room (it was super busy), my Mom and I found some pretty awesome deals.

So here's my top five best deals of November (all the from the fabulous Lynnwood Goodwill):

1. Old Navy Squirrel T-shirt - $1.79 (40% off $2.99)

2. Dark denim Limited jeans - $8.99 (40% off $14.99)

3. Chadwick's floral skirt - $4.79 (40% off $7.99)

4. Yellow floral skirt - $7.99 (not on sale - I got this earlier in November)

5. New York and Company plaid city shorts - $2.99 (40% off $4.99)

It was a great day! I was on a total shopping high for the rest of the afternoon. (I got a ton of other stuff, too, but it's all dark colored shirts and coats and things that didn't photograph well.)

The next big sale at Goodwill is going to be the day after Christmas. ALL tags are going to be 50% off! You can bet I won't miss that.

Hmmmmm... that Chadwick's skirt is super cute! I think when you get tired of wearing it, it would make a really great Laura Bee. : )
