Top Five Best Deals of October

October was good to me, my little chickadees! I think I found the best deal ever at the Goodwill. So, my number one best bargain of the month would have to be...

1. Seven for all Mankind jeans at the Goodwill in Lynnwood for $5.99!!!!

Yes, you read that right. For about the same price as a footlong Subway sandwich after tax, I got a pair of premium denim jeans. It was like they were there waiting for me. They were hanging sideways on a rack next to the main jeans rack (and not the Glitter rack, I might add). As I picked them up, one of the sales associates said, "Those are men's jeans". I saw that the tag said "32" and then I saw the label on the back of the jeans. I said breezily, "No, I'm pretty sure they're women's jeans." I looked at the sales tag and greedily put them in my cart. "No, they're men's jeans. Look at the size," she insisted. I just smiled and said, "I think I'm going to try them on anyway. Thanks." She shook her head and then gave up on me and I almost took out an old lady in my haste to get to the changing room. They fit perfectly and I see that they retail for about $155 at Nordstrom! But, again, I only paid $5.99 for them, bitches!!!

2. Vintage Wool coat, $9.99, Lynnwood Goodwill.

All wool, fully lined, perfectly matched up pattern at the seams. 'Nuf said.

3. AC/DC t-shirt, $10.00, U District Buffalo Exchange.

Aaron found this t-shirt for me for my Metal Halloween costume. Awesome! And, I actually got it for $1.09, because I got $9 in trade for an old coat that I sold them. Sweet. It's a long way to the top, if you want to rock and roll.

4 and 5. Stone washed denim mini-skirt, $3.99, and stone washed denim jacket, $9.99 - Ballard Goodwill. Don't worry - I won't be rocking these in the wee hours out on Aurora. These two gems were also for my metal costume.

I couldn't find anything acid washed - where did all the acid washed denim go?
