Is it me, or is it freezing in here?

How does everyone feel about short sleeved sweaters (like this one from Target)?

I have a couple and I think they look stylish and cute. They are comfortable and you never have to worry about accidentally dragging your cuff through ketchup or coffee.

But, when it's sweater season, it's usually cold outside!! Brrr. Therefore, every time I wear a short-sleeved sweater, I freeze. So, what to do? Should I wear arm warmers? (That's a bit goth.)

Get another sweater to wear over it? (Hi Granny - is there a draft in here?) Should I - dare I say it? - put on an office fleece? (That's right - I got another office fleece. It's just soooooo cozy that I couldn't resist. I'm weak. I know.) Or, should I get a space heater at work and wear whatever I want, while roasting my office mates?

I guess I could wear a denim jacket over the short-sleeved sweater, but then that would be too cold for outside, so then I'd have to wear a coat over the denim jacket and then I'd look like the kid in "Christmas Story". No thanks.

I think, for the time being, I am going to try to remember this fashion conundrum and just avoid short-sleeved sweaters. I mean, they are really the equivalent to short pants, which are really shorts, and you wouldn't wear shorts in November, right?

I have a few short-sleeved turtleneck sweaters, because my philosophy is that they keep your neck so warm that your arms don't really get too cold. And, they're cute.

Short-sleeved sweaters, like the one you are showing, are a layering piece, IM0. I own five or six little black blazers in varying lengthhs and cuts, that if I wore a long sleeve sweater under them at work, I might get too warm. Also, I have overcoats and trench coats for winter that are large enough to layer over cute little black blazers, that are layered over cute little short-sleeved sweaters.

Does that make sense? : )

Yeah, that makes sense. I do have a wool cowl neck short-sleeved sweater and it really does keep me warm enough not to need another layer. I think my office is just really cold in the morning, and so I freeze my ass off if I wear anything too light. I also run into trouble when I just grab a short-sleeved turtleneck without thinking about needing an extra layer and then pay the price. Getting dressed is so much easier in the summer!
