Camano and Carleton

This past Saturday, Aaron and I went on our annual fall picnic with K and M.

We went to a park on Camano Island and we couldn't have asked for better weather.

We had grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup and cocoa and cookies. Mmmmm. Here's K cutting the cheese. (Don't think for a second I let that one slip by without comment.)

After the picnic, we went to Carleton Farm in Lake Stevens.

Carleton Farm has a sweet pumpkin cannon and some really cute goats.

I named this goat Snaggles because of his underbite and general snaggly looking choppers. Even with his imperfect set of teeth, he managed to eat goat food right out of my hand.

After the farm visit, we hit I-5 and headed back to Seattle.

It was a really fun day and nice to get out of the city for a bit!
