I was calmly eating my lunch in my car today (because I am anti-social) and enjoying some peace and quiet. I had both the driver side and passenger side doors open, which was creating a nice cross-breeze. I set my open face French bread sandwich with cheese and butter on the edge of my seat as I took a drink of water from my Nalgene bottle (it's an old one, so it's probably filled with plastic toxins). I heard a car coming, and thought they were jockeying for the parking space next to me, so I leaned over to close the passenger side door so they wouldn't wack into it. Just as I leaned, I had that slo mo "noooooooooo" feeling.
Because - yep, you guessed it - I leaned over onto my sandwich. The cheese didn't do a whole of damage to my pants, but the butter was melty and spooged out from under the cheese and left a frame of grease on the leg of my pants.
I got the pants at Ross, so they weren't super spendy by any means. But they are pants that actually fit, and that is hard to come by. I hope my Spray n' Wash stain stick is up to the greasy, buttery stain challenge. Or maybe I should invest in some OxyClean?

OxyClean has saved my life...well, the life of my dollars at least. I'm not sure how it works on butter, but it can take on the red wine like nothing else. the old apartment, light grey-silver carpet--dropped and spilled 1/2 a bottle that splattered EVERYWHERE, so much so that the place looked tie-dyed. i've been a believer ever sense.
I might have to invest in some Oxyclean if I can't get this stain out!
