Crush with (blue) eyeliner

I bought blue eyeliner! OMG! Ulta had a buy two/get one free deal going for Prestige eyeliner a few weeks ago...soooo, when I went to have a look see at the color selection, I saw one called "Denim". I would actually describe it as more of an aqua/turquoise color, though. The reason I was bold enough to even try this is because at New Year's we had the 80s themed prom party and I wore crazy teal eyeliner...and it actually sort of - well, I kind of liked it.

You might be thinking to yourself, Kittykat, WTF? Why in the world would you buy blue eyeliner? What's next? Are you going to start feathering your hair and keep one of those combs with a handle in the back of your jeans pocket? And wear feather earrings and one of those baseball style Duran Duran t-shirts? (Actually, I would kind of like to have one of those shirts. Tiffin Targus had one of those when we were in 5th grade and I coveted it then, too.)

No, no, no. Hold the phone, Joan. I'm going to "reinvent" the blue eyeliner. I have blended it with some teal-ish Clinique eyeshadow and mixed it with my Stila brown eyeshadow to tone it down a bit.

And, after a bit of tweaking, I came up with this look that is less Tiffany/Debbie Gibson - I hope.

Hopefully, it doesn't make you want to gag yourself with a spoon or other kitchen implement.
