Presidents' Day

In keeping with tradition, I spent Presidents' Day at the Goodwill with my Mom, as I do on most major holidays (or the day after the holiday, in the case of Thanksgiving and Christmas.) Green and Blue tags were 30% off and red tags were 99 cents. I scored a few items with sale tags, like some Adidas track pants for 4 bucks and some great Dockers brand pants for about 5 bucks.

The most exciting (and photographic) item that I scored, was this spring skirt for $6.99 (sadly, it was a grey tag, so not on sale, but what can you do?).

Always good to match your clothing to your furniture, right? Here's a shot of me wearing it.

And, want to know something weird? This baby is a size 4! Crazy! As I've said before, sizes are so nutty. I just checked, and I have two skirts in a size 4, two in size 8, one in size 6 and two in size 12. And, yes, they all currently fit me. Go figure.

Anyway, the skirt is Merona brand, so I can tell it's from Target. I'm pretty sure Target donates stuff to the Goodwill, because they have a specific tag for items from there. The tag is grey and says "T-Wares".

My Mom got two coats, a top and a little basket-y decoration for the door to the storage shed in her backyard.

I don't think the next Goodwill sale will be until Memorial Day - that's so far away!
