Your Household Guide

When I was making my banana bread today, I was digging through my cookbooks and came across an old reference guide that used to belong to my Grandma. I've looked through it before, but took some time to really read it today. Behold, "Your Household Guide":

Sometimes I wish I could be a housewife in the 50s, but I'd probably miss blogging and watching great shows like "Rock of Love" and every design program on HGTV. And cable and the internet. And my cell phone. Oh, who am I kidding? I just want to go back in time, shop, and then wear all the vintage clothes in the present time. If only...
