I found out yesterday that I got the job that I interviewed for! Holla! (I didn't say anything about it before because that's bad luck, y'all.) It is at another institution of higher learning, but it is, however, closer to my house. Sweet!
So, if I may borrow a phrase from the Canadian supergroup, Loverboy, I'll still be "workin' for the weekend", but at least it won't be in the Great White North anymore. (I'll have to change my tagline...)
It's time to celebrate good times, come on! (I don't know where this is all coming from. I swear I listened to TV On the Radio on the way to work and not my favorite hits from the 70s and 80s. Honest.)
