Take Note

Have you seen this site? It's freaking hysterical! (I saw the link on I'm Not Obsessed, but a co-worker had mentioned it to me a while ago, but I forgot about it in the flurry of work. Damn work, getting in the way of everything.)

Have you ever left a pissy note? I've been tempted, but I can't think of a time when I actually followed through. I'm more the type to go knock on someone's door and nicely ask them to kindly turn down the stereo/stop skateboarding in their room/stop tattooing. This was a constant problem with our neighbors in the dorm where I lived in college. So, after telling said neighbors that the buzz of our their tattoo needle was keeping me awake (in an almost apologetic fashion, mind you - like, oh, I'm sorry I'm bothered by your incessant racket, can you please stop so that I might wake up for my 8am math class?) Then, I would head back to our room and curse their names (Weaselboy and Randy) and wish bad things on them like psorisis or some other type of blight. Sooo, I guess that's slightly assertive, yet passive agressive at the same time.

Anyway, I have seen a few notes left up in our current building (not the dorms - because, thankfully, I haven't lived in a dorm since 1994), which I totally should have taken pictures of for the passive agressive site. One of the notes was left just the other day. Saturday night, someone had a little too much fun and yakked in our hallway. It was pretty awful. So someone else left a nasty note taped to the elevator telling the perp to clean up. After a couple days (seriously, it was gross), the puke magically vanished and Aaron took down the note (although he wasn't the author of the note, I can assure you) after he saw that it was cleaned up. Hopefully that will be a one off type thing.

After perusing the passive agressive note site, I decided that one of my favorite notes is this one.

I wonder if Jesus would even like Poptarts?

Anyway, I pissed away about an hour yesterday looking at the notes. That's the wonderful thing about the internets! Enjoy!

Not skateboard in their room? Stop tatooing? Hmmm...talking about anyone in particular?

Oh, yeah! Our favorite neighbors - weren't they in a band called Scrimo or something? At least they didn't practice in their room. In all fairness, they were probably only up until 10:30pm...ok, maybe 9:30pm. You know I like to get the maximum amount of sleep possible. :-)
