Light Box Barbies AND A Boat Bar

Daisymayrobin's summation of the Copper Gate is spot on. I have to add a P.S. about the bathroom, though. Upon passing the large ship/bar, you see an old tv that is showing nothing but static, which is located right outside the bathroom door. When you enter the bathroom, there are light boxes of topless ladies on the wall, and then next to them are these Barbies trapped in a window box (pictured to your left).

Before leaving the bathroom, a fellow patron asked me if I felt like it was all a bit creepy. I had to agree. And while I like Barbies as art and feel that the light box Barbies were kind of cool, I'm just not sure how they fit in with the overall vision of the Copper Gate decor. I guess because the Barbies are topless? How does that complement the boat bar again?

All in all, it was a confusing experience and one that I'm not eager to re-live. It was good to catch up with me mates, but I was so distracted by the surroundings, that I had a hard time focusing on the task at hand. (It's hard to get to drinkin' when your mouth is gawping open in confusion.)

Wow... I forgot about the other nude females... other than the Barbies. Yikes! What is the owner's fetish all about?

BTW, love the new "look!" Are you happy with your new blog template? I have not done the complete upgrade yet.

I don't know, but the naked ladies definitely didn't go with the Noah's Ark bar.

Thanks! I'm glad to have a template change. I was kind of tired of the old one.
