Thrift Therapy

As things get crazier the closer the wedding looms (10 days and counting!), I feel the need to go shopping. You know, the old retail therapy idea? Well, with catering, bartenders, dress alterations, and the like, the coffers are a bit, well, empty. So how does a girl fit in some much needed shopping at time like this? Enter Goodwill.

My favorite Goodwill is not in Seattle. It's not even in Shoreline. No, my favorite Goodwill is located in Lynnwood. Scoff all you like (insert mullet/El Camino joke here), but I have gotten some of the best deals of my life at that Goodwill.

Just this past Sunday, in fact, I scored a pair of wedge loafers for $5, a pair of casual slip on mules (originally from Target) for $2, and a cute necklace for $3! It totally satisfied my shopping urges without any guilt.

Now I am feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the pre-ceremony photo list. (Bride with groom, bride with groom and groom's parents, bride with bridesmaids...etc.)
