The wedding preparation is sort of going in the direction of a big move. You start out all on top of things - you've got the rental truck reserved, you start getting boxes from work and neatly wrapping things that you don't use very much. Then you take a few things to the thrift store and tell everyone that this move is going to be so organized. Flash ahead to the day of the move. You're throwing Grandma's crystal glasses into a laundry basket because you ran out of boxes and you've got the couch hanging off the back of the truck, loosely secured with a bungy cord and your hair looks like Weird Al Yankovic because you stayed up all night packing "last minute" items, like, oh, the entire contents of your closet. Your friends hate you because you yelled at them to pivot and push the couch up over their heads to get it up the flight of stairs and all you want to do is go to bed, but your sheets got shoved into a box marked "kitchen items", however, you've forgotton that helpful fact in all the chaos.
Yeah, so that's how I'm feeling about the wedding. I decided that I need a wedding purse and I'm damn near just getting it from Claires, because who f*cking cares at this point, and Aaron needs to get groomsmen presents and we still need to come up with vows and a reading. Perhaps we could read my horoscope for the day? Maybe Ann Landers? Right now, for the vows, we've got, "Wanna marry me?" "Sure, let's do this thing." "Sounds good. Cheers to that. Do they have the damn bar set up yet?" No seriously, do they have the bar set up?
