I FINALLY got to watch "Project Runway" for the first time. NBC ran an episode from this season last night at 8pm. Since we don't have Bravo in our unexpanded basic cable package, I've been forced to sit out on discussions about this show. But not anymore! Now I will have an inkling of a clue when this program is discussed...I can chime in about Tim Gunn's comments to the designers, commend Heidi Klum for always looking sylish and hot, and lament how impossible it would be for me to sew any type of dress, let alone a beautiful ball gown. (There is a reason I didn't advance beyond Apparel Design 096.)
I thought it was unfortunate that the guy with the dark hair was eliminated from the show - Auf Wiedersehen, indeed. But it was fun to see all the dresses and hear the judges' comments. But how obvious was it that Vera Wang would like the dress by Uli? I mean, it looked like it could be one of Vera's own designs. Not that I could ever afford a Vera Wang gown, mind you, but still...
