I read about e.l.f. (Eyes, Lips, Face) make-up in InStyle a couple issues ago. They were discussing the brushes that you can get on the e.l.f. website for a dollar each! I haven't actually tried the brushes, but I did buy some lipsgloss. I got the Hypershine Gloss in Flame. It smells like Bazooka bubblegum and goes on as a pale pink. The lip gloss packaging is the spittin' image of Stila's Lip Glaze - but the lipgloss is a dollar, too! It must be the taste sensation that sweepin' the nation, because Aaron just sent me a link to an article about e.l.f. from CNN.
I will never stop using high end make-up, like MAC and Stila, but it's fun to buy a cheap lipgloss here and there...and it's even more fun if it costs the same as a pack of Extra Sugar-free gum. (Peppermint is the best, btw, but what is up with the Watermelon flavor and that dumb commercial they have with the stick of watermelon gum riding the bull in a rodeo?)
And P.S., this is a little weird, but they carry e.l.f. make-up at the Goodwill. I shit you not. (Shut up, it's not used. Gross. It's in the section close to the checkouts where they have new stuff. At least that's the way it was at the Lynnwood Goodwill.)

Brilliant! No... super brilliant! When I go to Sephora and walk out with two or three products that can fit in the palm of one hand, and my receipt is somewhere around $100, I shake my head in disbelief. You don't want to skimp on certain things (like foundation), but if you want to experiment with a new look, this is the way to do it! Woo!
I know! I love buying lipgloss, but sometimes it does get a little spendy. But not if it's a dollar!!
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
