Can someone please explain to me the point of a purse charm? I get that they're a decoration, do we really need shit hanging off our purses? I mean, I try to get on the bandwagon with new trends, but the fashion industry has been making it really difficult to embrace new styles lately. First it was skinny jeans, then it was gauchos, and now I'm supposed to buy an item that looks like a keychain that a 13-year-old would have and I'm supposed to attach it to my purse. What's next? Hat charms? Glove charms? Why do I want to accessorize my accessories? Give me a freakin' break. I'd rather spend my money on a new chrome flip-top garbage can. Then I can throw my purse charms in it and be done with this stupid trend.
