I don't know if I should even say this, because last time I blogged about how smoothly the condo deal was going, we got the shaft at the last minute...but, I think the condo deal is going ok this time! (I know, I'm tempting fate.) We already put in the order for the flooring. It wasn't a tough choice - we could either choose this wood laminate flooring, or have carpet. So we did the diplomatic thing and chose to have the laminate in the entry, living and dining rooms. We went with vinyl in the bathroom and kitchen... and then, are you ready for it? Carpet in the bedrooms. I know, I sound like freakin' Bob Vela - but I'm so damn excited!
So, next we just have to "touch base" with our lender (see how I slipped in some corporate lingo there?) and make sure we're all "on the same page".
If all goes well, we will close on February 21st and move in that weekend. And if it doesn't work this time, I will lose my shit like that crazy lady on "Trading Spouses".
