Brokeback Mountain

We went to see "Brokeback Mountain" last Sunday. Excellent movie - if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you check it out. Jake Gyllenhal and Heath Ledger do a fantastic job. (And yes, Naughtykins, there is some hot man-on-man action.) However, like many Oscar-nominated films, it is a very heart wrending story.

If you're like me, you want to see as many movies that are up for Oscars before the actual Academy Awards. But, Oscar level films can be kind of heavy, you know? So, you might want to arrange for a double feature of sorts. After you go and see the well-acted, well written, pretty much fabulous Academy Award nominated movie (like "Brokeback Mountain" or "Walk the Line" - both fine films), you have a funny movie waiting at home. Here's a list to help you get started and change those tears of anguish to tears of embarrassment after you laugh so hard that pee your pants:
