What Not to Wear

I got the What Not to Wear books from the library last summer. They had some good tips (like wearing a flesh colored bra under a white shirt instead of a white bra - useful.) Mostly it was just fun to see some of the before and after shots of people. (Sadly, I haven't seen the actual show, since we don't have cable.)

One thing that they didn't cover in the book is how not to dress like a slutbag. Apparently, the designers at Old Navy need a refresher course on how not to look like a ho, too. (Does anyone remember that SNL skit that Eddie Murphy did called "I Wanna Be a Ho"? God, that was funny.)

Case in point: The description of this Old Navy coat: Plush faux fur and a chic cropped length are sure to turn heads and beckon the question: "Where did you get that?!" Indulge yourself in this striking, vintage-inspired piece, ideal for a night on the town. Uh, I think the question you would get is, "Hey, baby, you wanna party?", or maybe, "How much do you charge for a night on the town, wink, wink?"

Old Navy has some good deals and usually has cute stuff, and I normally like faux fur, but this coat is definitely something that should be added to the list of "What Not to Wear". (Unless you are a hooker. If that's the case, then by all means, go nuts.)
