Christmas Booty

Santa was very good to me this year. I got everything that I wanted and more! Here are the highlights of my Christmas booty:

Best Gift that I knew I was getting:

Bandolino boots from my Mom.

Gift that Aaron fooled me into thinking he didn't like so that I would be surprised:
Melamine 60's lady plates.

Thing that we needed that I couldn't focus long enough to buy myself (ooooh, I'll be right back, I see something shiny...):

Pretty towels from Aaron's brother and sister-in-law.

Gift that I would have bought myself if I'd seen it at Sephora:

Urban Decay shot-o-gloss in cosmo flavor from my friend Kris.

Strangest gift:

Prince Harry and William Commemorative spoons from my Dad. (Real gift or joke gift? We're not sure. I couldn't find a link to this one - you'll have to use your imagination.

Gift with a story behind it:

Chipmunk Key Chain from my friend Kris (Long story....).

Gift with the most potential:

Nordstrom gift card from Aaron's parents.

Best Gift I got for someone else and ended up keeping:

A Santa Suit - and since I was the only one that would wear it (Aaron and my brother wussed out), I was Santa at our house this year. It was priceless, just like in those MasterCard ads.

So those are some of the strange and wonderful gifts that I got this year. Christmas was fun and it was good to hang out with the fam, but I have to admit that I'm ready for the sprawling abyss of nothingness that is the month of January.

For now, it's time to put away the "Fleece Navidad" doormat (it has pictures of holiday sheep on it - get it? funny stuff!) and move on to New Year's. I can't wait - my lip gloss with match my drink! What are the chances? Cheers!
