I Do, I Do, I Do

It seems like October is the new August for weddings. We've been to two weddings in the last couple weeks. They both had fall colors, like maroon and orange, but the similarities ended there. The first wedding that went to was in the bride and groom's backyard and incorporated traditions from various backgrounds. They even had a Chinese dragon dance group! That was pretty cool. The wedding we went to last weekend was creative in every way and was held in a loft space in Belltown. The officiant was a drag queen and the bride walked down the aisle to the Storm troopers song from "Star Wars"! Aaron was in charge of the music and he lived up to his title of DJ Extraordinaire. We ate and drank ourselves silly and danced (badly) and a good time was had by all.

So we've got a lot to live up to for our wedding! It's good to go to a lot of weddings and get ideas, though. Aaron had a thought about making a documentary of how we met to play at the wedding along with the photo montage of friends and family. I guess we better get on the proverbial stick! Time to get crackin'!
