I have a weak spot for handbags. I'm kind of a handbag slut. I change my purses as often as I change my underwear. (ewww - yes, of course, every day!) I currently own about 40 purses...and counting. I like new purses, vintage purses, high-end, low-end, it doesn't really matter as long as it's cute or unique.
I have my vintage handbags hanging on the wall in our living room. They show up nicely against the background of our lipstick red walls. I also have some of the cuter 60's style purses strategically placed around the living room and dining room. The rest of the purses are in storage bins neatly stacked in my half of the closet.
I've gotten some of my coolest handbags from the Goodwill in Lynnwood, ranging in price from $2 - $5. I get a lot of everyday purses from Marshall's and vintage shops. I also bought a slew of purses on our trip to Europe.
My current favorite purses are my tan leather purse that used to be my grandma's, my little black Marc Jacobs knock-off purse that my friend Jim bought me in New York, and my scary doll/gnome purse that I got at Camden Market in London.
I have thought of joining Bag Borrow or Steal, which is like Netflix for purses. But I'd want to buy every single one and then I'd be bankrupt and would have to live in my car in the Taco Bell parking lot.
