Toe to Toe

Summer is truly upon us (it's supposed to be in the 90s today, y'all - that's HAWT!), so if you haven't already, it's time to paint those toes. My toes are sporting OPI Big Apple Red right now and even though I'm wearing closed toe flats, I still whip my feet out when I'm sitting at my desk to get a peek at my shiny shiny tootsies. (This also helps with the sweat factor, which plagues me when wearing flats with no socks. I know, probably TMI. Sorry.)

But what does that color of red look like, you ask? Well, welcome to my new obsession. I saw a link for the Community Nail Polish Gallery on Blogdorf Goodman - and it's a frickin' gold mine. (Btw, Big Apple Red is just gorgeous - my fave of all time.)

I've been searching for a nice pinky polish for mah toes, but when I get to Ulta, I can never decide what to get. Plus, how can you put on two coats of polish at the store to get a true read of what the color will really look like? Community Nail Polish Gallery can help. I saw OPI's You're Such a Kabuki Queen in the random files on the home page and I'm in love. (Sure, it's Barbie pink, but you can get away with that shit on your toes.)

And better still, I just found out that my Mom has this color, so I can borrow it from her! Sweet! Scorching hot pink toes, here I come!
