Kwik E Mart

After heading to Cinerama yesterday to see "The Transformers" movie (which was, ah, more than meets the eye), we took a stroll over to a restaurant in Aaron's old building to have a crepe. (Zee crepes, zey are so deeleecious.) On the way there, Aaron pointed out this 7/11, which has been transformed, not into a robot, but into a Kwik E Mart! How cool!

There are only twelve 7/11 stores in the US and Canada that underwent the switch, so it's great Seattle was one of the lucky cities chosen!

There were people everywhere taking pictures outside the Kwik E Mart, and we were no different. (I was annoyed that we only had our cell phone cameras, so excuse the low quality of the pics.)

We decided to go inside and check things out, and on the way in, I saw Bart and Millhouse!

Once inside, we were greeted by more Simpsons lifesize cutouts, a Squishee machine and some Buzz cola. (Aaron bought some cola, but we haven't tried it yet.)

The checker who rang us up looked a looked a lot like Apu, but I resisted to urge to ask him if that was his name.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Simpson's movie! When we do, I plan to stop by the Kwik E Mart afterwards for a blue raspberry Squishee.
