SkunkFunk At Tweed

I walk by Tweed at least a few times a week, so I have frequent opportunities to view their lovely wares. One day a few weeks ago, I happened to see a very trendy handbag in their window. It was $52, which I didn't think was too bad for a purse from a fancy shop, such as Tweed. So, I decided to go in on a Saturday and buy it when I'm not wearing sweat pants and tennis shoes I've had since 1998 (like I wear when I'm on a walk.)

Sadly, when I went in to buy the purse, they had sold it already! The horror! But the nice woman working there said that they could order more. She added that she would put me on a list and call me when they arrived. So I did and then I didn't hear anything for a while.

Then, last week, I got a call during the day from a "206" number that I didn't recognize...it was Tweed! They'd gotten more of the cute purses!

I hustled over and bought this sweet Skunkfunk handbag.

I love the detail of the fabric.

I was also very impressed that the salespeople at Tweed followed up by calling me back!

(My only problem now is that I got some schmutz on the fabric on one side of the bag. What to do?? Shout wipes? Any thoughts? I wonder if you can have handbags dry cleaned?)

"Hi, I'm Billy Mays and I'd like to introduce you to the cleaning power of OxyClean!"

Haha, kind of kidding, but I bet it might work. Also, you could call Tweed and ask them what they would recommend. You may have to explain to them what "schmutz" is, though.

Good idea about calling Tweed! I might have to do that. I've never tried OxyClean, but I've heard it works wonders.
